RJD to hold massive protest in Araria on Nov 28 against reservation cuts and constitutional erosion

The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has scheduled a protest in Araria on November 28 to address concerns related to reservation policies and the protection of constitutional values. The protest will focus on the central government’s approach to the reservation system and other policies that the RJD claims may negatively impact the rights of marginalized communities. Party leaders are particularly concerned about moves that could affect the allocation of reservations in education, employment, and other sectors.

Manish Yadav, the district president of RJD, stated that under the leadership of Lalu Prasad Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav, the party has long been committed to upholding the constitutional provisions for social justice. He also mentioned the caste-based survey conducted in Bihar, which was initiated by Tejashwi Yadav. The survey, carried out in Bihar with the aim of assessing the socio-economic status of different caste groups, is viewed by the RJD as an important step in identifying the needs of various communities and ensuring appropriate policy measures.

The protest will also address concerns regarding the commercialization of sectors like education and employment, which the RJD claims restrict access to these institutions for economically disadvantaged and backward communities. The RJD leaders argue that such trends could increase inequality and limit opportunities for marginalized groups. Senior party leaders including Jagdish Jha Guddu, Sushil Vishwas, Rashid Mushtaq Rumi, and Anjar Alam are expected to participate in the protest, which aims to highlight these issues and mobilize support for the continued protection of reservation rights.
